Can anyone tell me the name of this adorable weed?
How do you feel about Mondays? I kind of like them. (I know.) I annihilated my to-do list at work today. That feels so good.
In other news, it's going to be Adam's 30th birthday on Saturday, and he wants a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. I'm going to try to talk him into letting me try a recipe other than his mom's, just for variety's sake. In case he agrees (not that he has to, since it is his birthday, after all), do you have a good one to share?

That is Ground Ivy, or "Creeping Charlie", though I haven't a clue how it got the latter name (see Glechoma hederacea). Sadly I don't have a cake recipe for you. Have a happy celebration!
ReplyDeleteI was going to say, that looks like Henbit! We just had a discussion about this on my blog and Blog FB page! It the stem is square instead of round, it could be dead nettle!
ReplyDeleteYour friends are quick (and good!). :) I was going to say dead nettle or creeping charlie. My 16 year old tried to set me straight as to the difference but I always get them mixed up. I tell him to keep in mind that my brain is 48 years old and his is only 16 and to please stop rolling his eyes at me. LOL!
