A great morning at the market, and the possibility of a CSA! (Be still, my heart! I haven't heard back yet, so I'm trying not to get too excited.) In-laws are here. Busy, fun day. Don't know why pics posted from flickr are wrong size entirely. Ah, well.
Happy weekend!
A farm in the surroundings is starting (or has) a CSA ? my heart is racing with yours. Keep me posted.
ReplyDeleteoooh, I would love it if there were a CSA around here! I am always a bit envious of those who have them. Please keep us informed! I love local food :D
ReplyDeleteI can't get enough blueberries...figuratively and literally! I always want more, but the birds and chipmunks always get to most of them before we do. We need better netting for the birds, but we do have the help of a copperhead to keep the chipmunks away now! ;) Yours are pretty!
ReplyDeleteWait. A CSA? Really? Do tell.
ReplyDeleteI'm still waiting to hear back - I want to make sure of all the details before spreading the word. Don't worry - I will let you know as soon as I hear back! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the details you left on my blog about the CSA. I know Gilberte. She's at the Belliveau Cove Market every Saturday (actually this year it's her son that's there; she's in Annapolis). She has quite the selection of Hope Seeds. I'm interested in CSAs because down the road I could possibly be starting one. I don't think I would buy shares in one because I have pretty much everything I need from our own organic gardens. However, I've been in contact with a CSA farm in Maine since last year - to ask questions, etc. I did'nt know that Gilberte was going to start one - I hope she does well.
