january skies

The sky at this time of year is so very lovely. I've been sharing some iPhone sky photos over on Instagram lately but didn't want any of you to miss out. This spot on the Tusket River is one of my favourite places to drive by on my way from school to school.

I'm feeling decidedly back to myself, and I think it was partly the rest and break from work that did the trick. This means that yesterday after work, I made yogourt, granola, and a fresh batch of kombucha. Tonight, some elerberry syrup for the boys who seem to be coming down with colds. Wow. This paragraph makes me sound kind of odd, yet awesome. I'll take that.

I *loved* reading about all of your January inspiration and plans for 2013! Thanks for sharing. Part of what I find so exciting about the new year is that everyone's in it together, feeling more or less the same way - inspired to pare down, clean up, be intentional, and tackle life. I love it.

Have a splendid weekend!

  2. Not much snow in your gorgeous pic...does that mean you didn't get hit that badly by the Maritime storm? Glad you're feeling yourself once again!

    1. It wasn't too bad here; most of the snow is gone by now. Hopefully we'll have more soon! :)
