Yay! Adam has been working away at Baby G's room (I can't decide whether or not to capitalize 'baby') and he put on the first coat of paint today! The colour is called 'Potpourri Green' and it's a Benjamin Moore colour. He painted the ceiling yesterday, a lovely white called 'Alpine White' (I would like to meet the people who get paid to name paint colours), and the trim and baseboards are going to the the same colour as the ceiling (they're just primed white in the pictures). Very exciting progress - it looks like it will definitely be done by the 14th, which is when my mom and a couple of friends are having a baby shower for us at our house. I was hoping Adam could get it done by then so people could have a look-see. The floor will be the last thing to be painted, and it's being done with an oil paint, so that will take awhile to dry between coats and cure enough to put furniture on. I'll definitely post pictures after it's all done and decorated, too.
